There has never been a time in our life where I could say to each one of you, how are you? And we would be talking about the exact….same….topic!!! I think we can all agree that the first quarter of this year started out like nothing we could have imagined. As I sit here and write this we are entering week 5 of social isolation; Letting go of life as we know it, and embracing what is to come and what is in front of us.
So really, how are you doing? I would love to know!
I feel like all the “training” I have done over the past 6 years has led me to this moment. This ability to release fear, to roll with the times. One of the main reasons people make a dramatic shift in their life is due to an emotional impact. I think it’s safe to say that this time counts as just that.
So what was my emotional impact that taught me how to release fear? Urgent open heart surgery 5.5 years ago at the age of 35. More difficult than the diagnosis itself was the surgeon uttering the words that it would no longer be safe to pursue pregnancy, after we had already been trying for years.
The most common question people seemed to ask during the time of healing was "does this change how you live life?" As an avid runner, skier, and outdoor lover who had achieved my personal and professional goals my answer was no, I was living what I had dreamed.
It wasn't until the birth of our miracle baby following a safe and healthy pregnancy 2 years post operation, that I realized the true gift of surgery. The lesson of learning to release fear, overcome what is holding you back and truly soar to live your best life.
My purpose in life now is to encourage others to seek inspiration, get out of their comfort zone and truly develop into the person they were meant to be. Recognizing that the true growth comes from being uncomfortable; I focus on helping people release fear and express themselves in ways they never imagined possible.
In 2019 I walked away from the safety and security of my corporate life and into a life of entrepreneurship and inspiration.
My question to you is: What is your fear? What would you do if you weren’t afraid?
There are those that are fearful right now, those who adjusting and those who look forward to a new way of life. Which one are you?
Thank you! I look forward to the journey of working together and helping as many people as possible release fear and move towards their dreams.
