Dr. Erica previously served as a sports chiropractor and kinesiologist, having owned, operated and sold her own thriving multidisciplinary health clinic in the heart of Vancouver’s west side. Having long since lived a life passionate about health and wellness, she was stunned to learn her shocking diagnosis of Acute Myeloid Leukaemia at the young age of 35 while still nursing her youngest. She has since come to stand to not only as the survivor of a once expected two-month terminal prognosis (having not responded to even the harshest of chemotherapy regimens, even being denied all further medical treatment aside from palliative care) but further as the humbled and honoured recipient of both a bone marrow transplant and subsequently a double lung transplant. Her once happy marriage sadly did not withstand the challenges. She lives in West Vancouver, Canada with her two beautiful sons.
